HIROYUKI YAMAZAKI

We are dedicated to and delight in our family-run firm, based in Kato-city, a natural setting famous as the birthplace of the fishhook.
We are proud supporters of the Kato-based fishing industry, as the items crafted here require highly advanced skills, so that they can transfer for use anywhere in the world, despite their rural origins.

Hikobe Kodera

The fishhook is the iconic product of Kato-city, accounting for 90% of the nationwide fishhook market share. Hikobe Kodera, is believed to have introduced the first fishhook in Kato-city during the Edo period; he is a beloved figure here.

Packaging

All products, including headers and mounts made in China, can be delivered.
Package designs are based on customers’ design data or are our own designs, according to the design image data provided by customers.

Assist Lines

We are able to prepare materials using PE, Kevlar, Zylon, Sea Hunter, etc…
(Only PE lines can be brought out in original colors, since we can dye them to any color you request.)

Specification
